Our estate covers 3.10 hectares: half a hectare is planted with chardonnay, one quarter of a hectare with Pinot Meunier and the rest with Pinot Noir. After many years learning on-the-job from my father-in-law I was ready to take over my in-laws’ estate. They had been vine growers and farmers for 3 generations and I inherited their desire to use the minimum possible amount of additives in the vineyard as well as in the winery.

It soon became apparent that biodynamics was the path to follow because of its inherent respect for life, its innate rhythm and its constant quest for balance.

We avoid intervening in the wine making as much as we can so as to let the amazing alchemy of the terroir, the grapes and the vigneron’s own unique personality, work its magic to produce really natural wines.
